History
Our firm began in 1988 when Ted DeLong and Chuck Brower established DeLong & Brower, P.C. to serve their clients with accounting, tax and consulting services.
Since then, we have grown steadily as a full service certified public accounting firm. Our client base has increased from 400 to over 1,700. They range in type and size from individual tax returns to small businesses to international companies with sales of over $75,000,000. Most of our new clients have come through referrals from current clients, local bankers and attorneys.
DeLong & Brower is much more than just a CPA firm. We are active members of the local community. Many from our staff are members of, or serve on, the boards of local organizations, service clubs, churches, nonprofit organizations and college fund raising groups. Our contacts in the business community are an important part of our ability to help our clients. We not only work to keep our clients’ businesses running smoothly and profitably, but volunteer our time to keep the West Michigan area a great place to live and work. We are members of the Michigan Association of CPA's, American Institute of CPA's, American Payroll Association and Holland Area Chamber of Commerce.
